I thought I would break up my upcoming set of Black & White photos (I've been in a monochrome mood) with a nice bring bright color shot I took while on part of my world tour this year.

This is the Durango-Silverton narrow-gauge steam train, which runs along the Animas River in Southern Colorado. I shot this from the middle of train as we rounded one of the many switchbacks up the steep mountain pass.

GREAT shot.  I love the way you included the close-up of the wooden frame (don't see many of those any more) of the train car.  Great timing shooting the curl of the train on the right side of the shot with the river running center-left.  The beautiful scenery & the close-by river rocks just make this perfect.  This could be a period piece from close to a century ago.  Keep up the nice work.
